About this list

Thursday is a training day for several clubs. In Düsseldorf the SFD 75 trains its youth in the club room at the Hassels sports park from half past five and lets the adults play from seven, and the Schachverein Wersten 1964 meets at the Caritas senior centre, with youth and beginners’ training first and free play from seven. In Ratingen the Schachverein Lintorf trains young players in the former town hall from four.

The evening clubs follow. The Ohligser Turnverein holds a seniors’ training evening in the library room of its hall in Solingen, the Schachfreunde Lennep play casual games and their club championship in Remscheid, Turm Schiefbahn meets in the old town hall of Schiefbahn, Anna 88 plays at the Laurentiustreff in Wuppertal, and the Schachfreunde Neviges run an open Thursday tournament until December 2026.
